Finalist Miss Canada 2017
Arshin M
Hello,
Having a disability is definitely difficult, but it is not a limitation.
As a disabled woman who has lost four fingers at the age of 2, whose body was burnt over 45% in a house explosion and went through a major hip replacement 3 years ago.
Adversity motivates and challenges me to achieve even more, to strive for a better life and help and motivate others.
I have had lots of achievement during my life.
I have a bachelor degree in tourism.
I was a national Taekwondo gold winner with a 3rd degree black belt,
I am a professional dancer and multilingual .
I am also a volunteer social worker helping refugees, earthquake victims in middle east and the poor communities.
I truly believe women with disabilities are especially influential as our hardship in life aren’t easily forgotten.
Being Miss Canada provides a great opportunity to increase awareness regarding disabled women.
