Finalist Miss Teen Canada 2019

Hello,

From Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, my name is Melissa Leclerc and I’m 15years old.

People would describe me as happy and full of life despite all the difficulties I went trough. In fact, “give up” is not a part of my vocabulary, which make me a very determined and really engaged in everything I do. Also, I love to move, especially when it comes to sports. For the past 6 years, I was part of a cheerleading team and this year, I’m discovering flag-football.

I’m now in grade 10 and I’m working hard to attain one of my biggest goal in life, become a psychologist. From an early age, I was able to find answers to my questions about life and still today, helping others solve their problems is something that is dear to my heart. After my year as Miss Teen Quebec in 2017, I see myself as a role model for young women of my generation and I realized that I can make a difference in people life.

Finally, learning about different cultures and way of living are important to me and this is partly why I decided to participate to Miss Teen Canada this year. A true and authentic contest that will allow me to grow and blossom fully with all the others candidates coming from all different parts of our beautiful country, Canada.
