Hello,
Zoe, 18 years old, is a long-distance runner, dancer, actor, and youth empowerment advocate from Truro, Nova Scotia. She is also a trained classical singer and is in level 9 RCM for piano. Zoe values her education very highly, she is pursuing an International Baccalaureate diploma and has attended a prestigious science-enrichment program, SHAD, in July 2018.
She is also the founder of a non-profit organization, Maritime Futuremakers, for which she hosted workshops at elementary schools and planned numerous volunteer initiatives. One of the most successful projects Zoe has led is starting a lunch program at her high school for underprivileged students. She is also in charge of planning a Relay for Life event at her school for the Canadian Cancer Society.
After graduating, Zoe plans to study business at the University of British Columbia, and eventually to pursue a career in Human Resources, as she believes that empowered employees are the key to success in a business. Zoe lives by the motto “youth are not the leaders of tomorrow…. youth are the leaders of today!”
