Finalist Miss Canada 2023

Hello,

My name is Meaghan and I’m from Windsor, Ontario. My nationality is Italian. I am currently a stay-at-home mother with aspirations of going back to University or College once my youngest son starts school this year. I have four beautiful children: Alaiya, Darius, Arabeth and Isaiah. They inspire me to be a better person, and pursue my goals and dreams so I can be a role model for them as they set out on their own future endeavors.

I have been married for 9 years. God is a very vital and important part of my life. I have been involved in a church since 2012, got baptized, and my life changed for the better in many aspects. I currently volunteer there with my husband and daughter. I have a passion for the less fortunate, and I try to help any chance I get, like buying the homeless food or a hot drink on a cold day, and my children have compassionate hearts that love to help as well. We were involved in winter coat/clothing drives for the homeless, as well as a sandwich and sleeping bag outreach program to personally distribute those items to the homeless in our city. I also have a passion for sponsoring childhood cancer charities and fundraisers, as I know a family who lost a precious son to cancer. It hits close to home, as I am a mother and I can’t even imagine losing a child. I’ve sponsored the Fight Like Mason Foundation, Childcan and Andrew’s Army. More recently, I’ve been thinking of getting involved in the Heart and Stroke Foundation, as I lost my father to heart failure among other health issues, this past year.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, going to the gym to maintain good physical health, writing poetry and books, and traveling with my family. My values are kindness, empathy, being relatable, reliant, selfless, nurturing, caring, honest and genuine. I am honoured to be a part of this amazing organization, and I hope to make a difference in the lives of others.
