Hello everyone!
My name is Cassandra, and I’m originally from Sainte-Sophie. I am a woman who is passionate about people, driven by the desire to understand, help, and create genuine connections with others. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and work as a special education technician.

Through both my personal and professional journey, I have learned to know myself deeply. My path, shaped by ADHD, mild anxiety, and an autoimmune condition, has led me to develop perseverance, resilience, and the ability to turn challenges into motivation. Over time, I also felt the desire to inspire others in my own way by showing that, no matter the obstacles, it is possible to move forward with effort, determination, and willpower.

With that same desire to help and connect with others, I’ve had the opportunity to get involved in various volunteer experiences. I volunteered at a community thrift workshop supporting people facing financial hardship, as well as with veterans in a seniors’ care center. Through animal-assisted therapy with my dog, I was able to experience moments of comfort and genuine happiness — an experience that deeply impacted me.

Beyond this more human side of me, I am also a very curious and creative person. Passionate about travel, I love discovering new cultures and opening myself up to the world. I also have a strong artistic side: painting, photography, dance, and handmade crafts are all part of my balance and allow me to express my sensitivity.

I also enjoy pushing myself physically, especially through mountain climbing and hiking, where I constantly challenge myself to go higher and faster, pushing beyond my own limits. Sports, paddle boarding, and mountain biking are also part of my active and adventurous lifestyle.

Today, I want to live this experience to continue growing, build confidence, and inspire others to believe in their own potential. I would also like to become more involved with organizations focused on mental health issues, a cause that is especially close to my heart. For me, it is also a daily reminder to choose light during difficult moments: Think happy, be happy
