Alyssa Lynn was born on August 13th, 1996 in Chatham, Ontario. Being the oldest of four girls, Alyssa was destined to be a leader and an example of confidence. Spending most of her childhood in her hometown, dancing was a large part of her expression and creativity. From ballet, to musicals and numerous instruments – Alyssa has always had a passion for the arts. Moving to Brantford to pursue her education, Alyssa finished with a Bachelor of Arts degree at Wilfrid Laurier University. In her free time, Alyssa enjoys baking, Zumba and reading studies about the brain. Long term, Alyssa hopes to achieve her Master’s in Psychology to pursue Psychotherapy. Fiery, vivacious and warm-hearted, Alyssa keeps a positive outlook on life and conscientiously enjoys the beauty of the present moment.

Why vote for me!
Growing up in a faith-based home with a family of Pastors I was raised with important values and morals that help me navigate through life. The power of giving, a kind word and treating everyone equally are values I hold onto. Growing up in the church I was able to spend most of my time participating in food drives, putting gifts together for children, prepping meals throughout the holidays and other volunteer work. I hope to use everything I have learned from psychology, my own experiences with mental health and participating in my community to be a great leader and example for young women.
