Finalist Miss Canada 2025

Angie V-S
Hello,
Hello, my name is Angie, I’m 23 years old, from Haiti! I really love everything about arts, fashion, acting etc. I stand for self-acceptance, equality between men and women, and especially the integration of young black women in the industry.
I am also a Christian woman, specifically Baptist. I am currently in a preparatory year at the University of Montreal. I want in the future, to study administration, since I have already gained three years of experience in this field as an administrative agent at Jean-Talon Hospital. Growing up, I wasn’t really the assertive and confident young girl that I am today.
I was actually very shy and calm. Even today, I am still working on myself! Signing up for Miss Canada was not in my plans, as it was unthinkable for me to participate in such a contest; I didn’t feel good enough. But after my experience at Miss Quebec, which was absolutely incredible for me, I ended up seeing this contest in a different light.
Although I finished in 2nd place, I considered myself lucky to be part of it! Miss Canada promotes inner beauty, friendship, and self-confidence, values that I believe are absolutely essential.
I couldn’t stop there, I wanted to go all the way, continue this adventure, and push my limits. I want to be a role model for other young girls who look like me; I want to represent Canada with pride!
