Hello,
My name is Brooklyn and I am 16 years old. I live in beautiful West Kelowna, British Columbia. I am currently in grade 11 attending Mount Boucherie Secondary. After I graduate, I would love to become a flight attendant. I began taking American Sign Language at school this year and really love it. I will continue taking sign language classes and hope to use this valuable skill in the future, in both my personal and professional life.
I believe that kindness is key! After being bullied for many years, I realized that everyone deserves love and respect. Being a 2018/19 West Kelowna vice ambassador has taught me many valuable skills along with volunteering experience. I’ve had the amazing opportunity of volunteering alongside the mayor and my fellow ambassadors around my community
If I were to win Miss Teen Canada, it would be a huge honour to give back to the community that helped me strive. It would give me the opportunity to be the best role model I can be for girls in Canada who also want to make an impact in accepting everyone for who they are!
