Diana D
Hello,
Hi, my name is Diana, and I am 17 years old. From a young age, I have been passionate about singing and acting. When I was just 7 years old, I started attending music school, taking acting classes, and even learning to dance. These activities werenât just hobbies for me; they became a way to express myself and connect with others. Deep down, I always knew I wanted to help people in some way, but it wasnât until I discovered singing that I realized it would be my way of making a difference. I understood that through my voice, I could help heal peopleâs hearts and touch their souls.
When I moved to Canada due to the war in 2022, I didnât realize just how much my voice would impact livesânot just emotionally, but in a very tangible and life-saving way. Shortly after arriving, I began performing at events organized by Ukrainian volunteer organizations in Toronto. These events aimed to support Ukraine during an incredibly challenging time, and I was determined to contribute as much as I could.
Over the past three years, I have performed at over 150 events. Each performance was an opportunity to bring people together, inspire hope, and raise much-needed funds. Thanks to the collective efforts of everyone involved, we raised over $100,000 for Ukraine. All of the money went directly to support the Ukrainian army, providing critical resources and assistance to those on the front lines. Knowing that my voice played a role in saving lives and making a difference for my homeland fills me with immense gratitude and purpose.
My journey has taught me that art has the power to unite, inspire, and create real change. Itâs not just about performing; itâs about using the gifts weâve been given to uplift others. I am incredibly proud to represent Ukraine and to share my culture and resilience with Canada and the world. Every song I sing carries a message of hope, strength, and love for my country and its people. Iâm honored to use my voice to build bridges and inspire others, and I remain committed to continuing this work.
