Miss Teen Canada 2018

Hello,

My name is Joani and i’m currently 16 years old. In the future, I would love to achieve my goal, which is to become a lawyer. One of my biggest value is to help others.

In 2015, around Christmas time, I spended every penny I could to help children in need. On a trip to Republic Dominican, I gave away plenty of things to the less fortunate families, students and hardworking maids. The smile on their face made me realise that it’s important to help others. I would love to do the same for my country.

I do figure skating, theater, I’m the captain of my school’s improvisation team and I’m the publicist in my school’s student council. I also love to write and volunteer when I have the chance.

I participated in my first pageant in 2014. Back then, I was really shy but the experience glady helped me gain some confidence. Another opportunity came up to me this summer. I was privileged to participate in my hometown pageant.  This experience gave me the chance to win 2 titles, which are First Princess and Miss Personality! Since I’m full of determination, confidence and positive attitude, I decided that it wouldn’t stop me there.

My goal by entering in the Miss Teen Canada pageant would be to get involved in all kinds of charity to help people in need and inspire everyone to be themselves, embrace who they are and simply be one of a kind.
