Finalist 2016

I graduated from St. Lawrence College in musical theatre performance. Since graduating I started an afterschool drama program for children. I write and direct the plays; however I also teach confidence, public speaking, community and hard work. I hope to one day run my own campaign in which I can work with groups of young women on self-love, anti-bullying and body positivity.

I am currently working on starting my own clothing company that will donate proceeds to the Canadian Women’s Association. The clothing itself will be centred around self love. I also want to speak across the country at junior high schools and tell them my story. I want to show them that there is hope. That each and every one of them can and will achieve great things, all they have to do is make that decision.

I believe in the power of positivity immensely and I know that I could be an incredible advocate for hope in the young women of Canada.
