Finalist Miss Canada 2023
Louise M
Hello,
Louise is an architect holding two master’s degrees who has been working for the most famous architectural office in the province of Quebec for the past 5 years. As a member of “CREW M” and “Les Elles de la Construction”, she is strongly involved in recognizing the success of women in construction and real estate industry in Quebec & Canada. Louise is committed to support and encourage the next generation and regularly participates in academic architectural activities and mentors high school students through “Academos” organization.
Born in Japan, raised in France, and now living in Canada for 9 years, Louise is proud to have learned 4 languages in her life (French, English, Russian and Japanese) and to have traveled to over 20 countries.
After experiencing some immigration difficulties, Louise is now a proud permanent resident of Canada. Between 2020 and 2022, joining other immigrant rights movements, she created her platform “Face of Immigrants”, to share one face at a time the testimony of immigrants, because “behind the files, they are humans!”. Thanks to initiatives like this one taken in Quebec and in Canada, she is proud to see that delays have been reduced in Canadian immigration!
Activist, but also part-time model, Louise Misako is a proud “ArchiChix” on her social media, where she shares her passion for fashion, her profession as an architect and of course the behind-the-scenes of her participation in Miss Canada!
