Finalist Miss Teen Canada 2025

Margo-Maeha H-E
Hello,
My name is Margo-Maeha, (but everyone calls me Margo) Heckel-Elies and I’m 17 years old. I was born in France, in Bergerac, a pretty little town in the southwest of the country. I arrived in Canada, more specifically in Drummondville, in August 2017 with the mission of fully integrating into my new country. Thus, we became Canadian citizens a little over a year ago with great pride! So I am cradled between 2 cultures. My parents also gave me a bilingual French-English education.
I am currently studying at the CEGEP of Drummondville in Social Sciences, but have decided to reorient myself towards studies in fashion management & marketing in 2025. My older sister already works in this field, and I have always been attracted to everything that has to do with fashion, so I decided to go for it!
I am a swimmer. After 7 years of competition I left the competitive circuit but continue to swim for my pleasure and maintain my health whether physical or mental. I like also to practice soccer.
Mental health is a subject that particularly touches me because I have overcome depression and struggle with severe anxiety daily. But I am persevering, and thanks to the support of my family and the doctors I was lucky enough to have on my way, I managed to overcome this.
It is in this context that I registered for Miss Teen Canada! This adventure is completely new, but I am convinced that this experience will help me grow, and gain confidence in myself and my abilities! It will also give me a voice to support the cause of youth mental health.
