Hello,
I am Melissa from Richmond Hill, Ontario, and I love the creative arts. I studied opera at Queens University, have an interior decorating diploma, and am on my way to becoming a certified wedding planner with the New York Institute. I used to be a fashion influencer before deciding to follow my heart and do something different.
I recently co-founded two businesses: a sustainable clothing line and a personal development agency, both of which are an extension of my vision to foster a culture of inspiration and growth among women.
I have been fortunate to volunteer for a number of humanitarian trips, visiting orphanages and leading outreach programs in Thailand, India, Cuba, East Asia, and building houses in Mexico. In 2019, I helped raise over $40,000 for the Children’s Wish Foundation.
As Miss Canada, I hope to create palpable change by inspiring others to embrace diversity and confidently pursue their dreams.
