Hello, my name is Nia, I am 14 years old and live in the lower Laurentians, Mirabel. Originally from China, I was lucky to be adopted at the age of 8 months. My youth was quite difficult, born hemiplegic I wasn’t supposed to walk or talk.
Today it is with great pride that I bite into life, thanks to my parents. Who provided my strength, the courage and not give up! Now, I am an ambassador for Shriner’s Hospital and spokesperson for more than 4 years of the bullying is no! Campaign.
I have been able to transmit my story to more than 9,000 young people. I decided that my life should bring the support I got and share it to all these young people, show them that despite adversity, intimidation, handicaps, or their orientation, deep down they have the capacity to triumph!Sometimes it is easier to let go but remember that together we can create the joy of our own destiny..
