Finalist Miss Canada 2024
Ruby G
Hello,
Sometimes the youngest person in the room has the most wisdom to share.
Ruby believes firmly in the power of education and the doors it can unlock. Just twenty years old, she recently completed her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at the University of British Columbia in three years. In June of 2024, Ruby will return to her alma mater to complete her Master’s Degree in Business Management from the Robert H. Lee Graduate School at the Sauder School of Business in just six months.
The recipient of the Lieutenant Governor Award for completing over 400 community service hours, Ruby is an active member of her community who enjoys dedicating her time to volunteering. She lost both of her grandparents to cancer and her mom is a two-time breast cancer survivor, so she feels strongly about fundraising for cancer research–she has raised over $15000! Ruby wants to play whatever role she can in helping humanity conquer cancer.
She also enjoys volunteering with adults with learning and physical disabilities–providing accessible art and performance classes to her local community.
A world-champion public speaker, Ruby wishes to utilize the Miss Canada platform to help others find their passion. She understands the power of having a strong voice and hopes to use hers to share her positivity and energy across the nation!

If you’d Elected: what you would realize
Why vote for me!
It’s not just about degrees, service, and accolades; it’s about the doors it opens, the minds it ignites, and the futures it shapes.
I’ve embraced learning as a lifelong journey. I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of knowledge and the doors it can unlock and will continue to bolster this message to others.
My passion for making a difference runs deep, and I want to continue fundraising and advocating for causes that matter, like cancer research, to honor my loved ones and support those fighting similar battles. I want to make a true difference in the lives of Canadians from coast to coast.
But perhaps what sets me apart is my voice—literally and figuratively. As an accomplished public speaker, I understand the power of words to inspire, to uplift, and to effect change.
My age isn’t a limitation; it’s an asset–a fresh perspective, boundless energy, an unwavering belief in the power of positivity, and a genuine desire to uplift others in all that I do.
I want to use the Miss Canada platform not just for myself, but to amplify the voices of those who feel unheard, and to inspire them to find their passion and make a difference in their own communities.
When you vote for me, you’re not just supporting a candidate; you’re endorsing a vision of hope, optimism, and empowerment.
