Finalist Miss Teen Canada 2017
Stephanie-Ann P
Hello,
My name is Stephanie-Ann,
I am 18 years old and I live in St-Hippolyte in the magnificent Laurentians in the province of Quebec.
I am a determined and an energetic person I love setting goals for myself! I am a positive thinker and believe that there is always positive side in every negative situation. Sometimes it may not be easy, but you must find it ! When there is a will, there is a way!!!
Since a young age, I have been passionate to give back to my my community. At five I decided to grow my hair to give it to a program that provides wigs and hair loss solutions to financially disadvantaged children in Canada who have lost their hair due to a medical condition or treatment. I know how hard it can be to deal with ups and downs of a disease that is why I cut my hair to make a wig to give a gift of hope! At nine Years old I was proud to donate 15 inches to the “Angel Care For Kids-A Child’s Voice Foundation “.
As a young adult now,I believe I was inspired to make a difference following my countless visits to the Children’s Hospital and Shriners Hospital for sick kids. I myself was not even two years old and was diagnosed with “JIA” (Juvenile Idiopathic Rheumatoid Arthritis). On a professional level my goal is to become a Pediatric Rhumatologist. The doctors who have treated me and helped me overcome difficult times with my disease influenced my direction for my career.
I have always wanted to help a third world country to make a difference! They do not have all the resources and education as us fortunate Canadians. That is why in July 2018 I am going to Ecuador on a humanitarian trip with the organization “ME TO WE”. “WE” is a mouvement that brings people together and gives them tools to change the world. For me it is all about helping others, learning about their culture and giving back to impoverished children. I have intentions of other humanitarian trips but at the same time I give back to my community my time volunteering in a senior living complex as well as Arthritis Society – Quebec Division.
Please vote for me ! My promise to you is that I will represent Canada with pride!!!

If you’d Elected: what you would realize
Why vote for me!
If I was elected as Miss Teen Canada, I would continue giving back to my community but also create a mentor program for children and adolescents who suffer from a disease. It will help them express their emotions and frustrations threw their ups and downs, especially to see the light on those hard days. I know how it feels I’ve been there, I suffer from JIA. I believe that I would represent Miss Teen Canada with pride! I am sociable, perseverant ,I love to help others on many levels,I love to travel and have fun!Thank-you !
