Tanpreet P
Hello,
Tanpreet adheres to the quote, “success is not about what you accomplish in life, it is about what you inspire others to do”. She aims to encourage others to cultivate their own success and turn the life that they dream of into a reality.
Tanpreet is a model, actress and obtains a BBA majoring in Human Resource Management. She was crowned Miss Charity British Columbia in 2014. Tanpreet was recognized for raising the most money for the Canadian Cancer Society and was also crowned Miss India-Canada in 2016.

She is regularly invited to engage in motivational speaking with youth in which she shares the challenges, failures, and insecurities she has encountered in her personal life. She emphasizes the importance of self-love and confidence, and to never let anything or anyone bring us down, specifically the standards put forth by modern society and media. Tanpreet believes in embracing failures by allowing them to be sources of motivation, and to continue to persevere until we achieve our goals.
To be known as Miss Canada is to be known as a role model; it is to have your face, your inner and outer beauty, your intellect and your story, known to thousands of individuals around the globe. Tanpreet believes this platform will give her the power to celebrate diversity and make a positive impact in others’ lives.

If you’d Elected: what you would realize
Why vote for me!
Throughout my journey, I did not have professional training or mentorship; I have struggled through many challenges, including bullying and being surrounded by competitive women who undermined, rather than supported, one another. I began offering modeling and pageant coaching as a way to help and support other women reach their successes. My goal is to create an organization where I can not only offer this training and mentorship, but also help women build confidence and self-esteem. I want to create a community where women feel strong, independent, and empowered.
To be known as Miss Canada is to be known as a role model, leader, and mentor. As a former provincial and national title holder, I have had the opportunity to raise awareness, give back to my community, volunteer for charities, host and speak at leadership conferences. As Miss Canada, I will encourage and support other women by sharing my struggles and experiences, and exemplify self-love, confidence and acceptance to encourage women to pursue their dreams. Miss Canada is an individual who has overcome fears, obstacles, and challenges to achieve her goals and encourages others to do the same. Miss Canada is a prestigious title that I would hold with goodwill, compassion, and sincerity.
