Tanpreet adheres to the quote, “success is not about what you accomplish in life, it is about what you inspire others to do”. She aims to encourage others to cultivate their own success and turn the life that they dream of into a reality.
Tanpreet is a model, actress and obtains a BBA majoring in Human Resource Management. She was crowned Miss Charity British Columbia in 2014. Tanpreet was recognized for raising the most money for the Canadian Cancer Society and was also crowned Miss India-Canada in 2016.
Tanpreet strongly believes in giving back to the community and continues to remain active by both hosting and supporting charitable events. She is regularly invited to engage in motivational speaking with youth in which she shares the challenges, failures, and insecurities she has encountered in her personal life. She emphasizes the importance of self-love and confidence, and to never let anything or anyone bring us down, specifically the stigmas and standards put forth by modern society and media. Tanpreet believes in embracing failures by allowing them to be sources of motivation, and to continue to persevere until we achieve our goals.
To be known as Miss Canada is to be known as a role model; it is to have your face, your inner and outer beauty, your intellect and your story, known to thousands of individuals around the globe. Tanpreet believes this platform will give her the power to celebrate diversity and make a positive impact in others’ lives.
