Hello,
Hi there! My name is Vanessa and I am a French teacher from Ontario. I work with students from low income communities and broken families, and each day I wonder how I can bring out the strong but kind, gentle but not weak side of my girls, who are turning into intelligent young women. Many students, especially young girls, have no one to offer them guidance and support or a smile.
I am that courageous, funny and encouraging female figure in many of my students lives who is there to offer a few kind words and a helping hand. Why stop there? As Miss Canada, I will be a ray of light and positivity, showing young women throughout our country that they can do anything they set their minds to and that the world truly is a beautiful place!
